First-timers to Charleston, South Carolina! We've always heard great things about this place and were looking forward to this port. After researching "Things To Do In Charleston" it seems everyone recommends a horse and carriage ride through Old South Carriage Company. Our tour guide was great and we were able to see parts of Charleston that would've taken quite a bit of walking to get to.
A good friend recommended eating (and/or drinking) at The Griffon. I don't think you'd find a better pub in town than this place.
And, before leaving Charleston we had to search out the Pineapple Fountain. It wasn't far from the pub and right on the water. Say CHEESE!
Charleston also boasted a great market with lots of vendors and local stores nearby. We absolutely loved Byrd's Famous Cookies!!!
