First order of business was to wait in line (a looooooooong line) for a Holy Donut! These donuts are made from fresh Maine potatoes. Adding mashed potatoes gives the donuts a delicious moist texture that makes them just melt in your mouth.
Next stop was a quick bite to eat at the High Roller Lobster Company. This place came highly recommended for a lunch stop and a new twist on lobster meals. I had a fantastic grilled cheese lobster sandwich. Jenesa chowed down on lobster on a stick (with melted butter).
Because we drank all day in Boston yesterday.....today we planned to eat! Can't leave Portland without stuffing yourself with lobster! So we ate dinner at the Porthole Restaurant and got the "Twin Lobster Dinner Special" for $24.99.
Who are we kidding? We didn't eat ALL DAY without a drink. We hiked over to The ShipYard Brewing Company and sampled some flights of their beer to wash down all that lobster!!!
